On 11 July 2016 Ambassador V. Maric presented his credential letters to the Right Honorable President of Nepal B.D. Bhandari in Kathmandu. During his stay in Nepal, Ambassador Maric also met with the Nepalese Foreign Secretary Mr. S.D. Bairagi. Friendly relations between the two countries were confirmed and ways to strenghten cooperation in all fields assessed during the meetings.

Ambassador Maric also visited the headquarters of the Nepalese conglomerate Chaudhary Group, which is constructing a noodles plant in the town of Ruma in Serbia. Ambassador Maric met with the Group President Mr. Binod Chaudhary and Managing Director Mr. Nirvana Chaudhary, who recently took part in the ground-breaking ceremony for the noodles plant in Ruma, together with the Speaker of the National Assembly of Serbia Mrs Maja Gojkovic.
