Ambassador Maric, along with his family and famous Serbian actors Nina Jankovic and Uros Jakovljevic and biologist Milivoje Krvavac, on 7 January 2016 presented 30 gift packages with school supplies to children in a kindergarten in the Srilankan village of Kommala, near Bentota, as a donation of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia.
