Embassy of the Republic of Serbia participated again this year in the traditional Diplomatic Charity Bazaar in New Delhi. After our stand was one of the most successful in 2014, Jovana Maric, spouse of Ambassador Maric, was chosen as chairwoman of this year’s event, along with the spouse of the High Commissioner of New Zealand. Ambasador Maric and New Zealand High Commissioner had the honor to officially open the bazaar. The final meeting, during which countries handed in funds raised at this charitable event, was held at the Serbian Residence. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Indian organization to which the funds were donated, as well as by over 30 spouses of foreign Ambassadors in New Delhi.
The best-selling items at our stand this year were “Valjevsko” beer, sljivovica and home-made Serbian food.
