Ambassador Vladimir Maric was one of the speakers at the celebration that tractor manufacturer Sonalika organized on 11 April in New Delhi on the occasion of Baisakhi or Festival of Harvest. Baisakhi is especially celebrated in Punjub, where Sonalika is headquartered. Ambassador Maric expressed hope that Sonalika would expand its operations in Serbia in the period to come (Sonalika’s tractors are currently being assembled in the FPM Agromehanika plant in the town of Boljevac in eastern Serbia). He congratulated Baisakhi to Indian farmers and wished them a successful harvest and good yields.
