Serbian National Day Reception, hosted in the garden of the Residence of the Ambassador, was attended by numerous esteemed guests – from the Chief Guest - Minister of State for External Affairs, General (Retd) V. K. Singh, through members of the business world, to famous sportsmen and foreign diplomatic representatives, as well as by Serbian citizens living in India. Traditional Serbian food was served, including gibanitsa, prebranats, ayvar and sarma, along with famous Serbian plum brandy sljivovitsa and Serbian wine and beer. Promotional films by the Serbian Tourism Organization were also shown during the entire duration of the reception.
