On 9 December 2014, Ambassador Vladimir Maric presented the Letters of Credence to the President of the Republic of India, H.E. Mr Pranab Mukherjee. During the meeting following the official ceremony, President Mukherjee pointed out that India and Serbia are traditional friends and that bilateral relations between the two countries should be further strengthened based on that friendship. Ambassador Maric conveyed to President Mukherjee sincere greetings from the President of the Republic of Serbia, H.E. Mr Tomislav Nikolic, as well as the dedication of the Serbian authorities to cooperate with India in all fields, with special emphasis on economy.
