His Excellency Mr. Jovan Mirilović, Non-Resident Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Kingdom of Bhutan, presented Letters of Credence to His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, King of Bhutan, on 25 April 2013 .

H.E. Mr. Jovan Mirilović arrived to Thimpu on  24 April and met with the Prime Minister of Bhutan, Mr. Jigmi Y. Thinley the same day. Ceremony of the Presentation of Credentials took place on 25 April, which was followed by Traditional Tea Ceremony and Audience of His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, King of Bhutan.

Ambassador Mirilović also called on the Foreign Secretary, as well as the secretaries of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Bhutan.

H.E. Mr. Jovan Mirilović is the first ambassador of Serbia to Bhutan in the history of two countries, since The Republic of Serbia and the Kingdom of Bhutan established formal diplomatic relations on 9 December 2011.
